Home / Platform / Patient app

Their results, in their pocket.

Patients ring the front desk because they have no other way in: where is my report, when is my visit, can I move it. The Catenix patient app answers all of that under your clinic's brand, so the phone stops ringing and the report is already in their hand.

What patients get

The clinic in an app, wearing your brand.

Your name, your colours, your phone number. Patients sign in with a one-time code sent to the contact details you hold for them: no passwords to forget, nothing to configure.

Reports, the moment you release

A push notification the moment a report is released, and the PDF exactly as your clinic produced it.

Trends over time

Each released result charted across visits, with your clinic's reference ranges shown as supplied.

Book, move, cancel

Live availability from your own diary rules. Patients book the slots you offer and nothing else.

Arrive with a code

Every booking carries a check-in code. Reception types it in and the visit opens, no queue at the desk.

Secure messages

A private thread with your team that lands in the portal, not a shared inbox somebody has to watch.

Their record, read-only

Medications, allergies and conditions exactly as your clinicians recorded them. Patients see, clinics edit.

A visit, start to finish

From invite to follow-up, without a phone call.

01
Invite
Your team invites a patient from their record. One tap in the portal, one text or email to the patient.
02
Sign in
A six-digit code to the contact details you hold. No passwords, no account setup, no helpdesk.
03
Book
The patient picks from your live availability. You choose whether bookings confirm instantly or wait for your say-so.
04
Prepare
Reminders before the visit, and your pre-visit questions answered ahead of time, waiting in the portal at check-in.
05
Attend
The patient shows their check-in code at reception and the encounter opens against the right record.
06
Results land
When your clinician releases the report, the patient's phone tells them. The trends build with every visit.

What the clinic controls

Off by default. On when you choose. Yours throughout.

Per-clinic switch

The app is off for your patients until you enable it, and switches off again the moment you say so.

Released results only

Patients never see a number a clinician has not reviewed and released. No exceptions.

Your diary, your rules

Opening hours, slot lengths, capacity and how far ahead patients may book: all set by you, per clinic.

Confirm or auto-confirm

Take bookings instantly, or hold each one for the front desk to approve with one click.

Your questions

The pre-visit form is authored by your clinic in the form builder, question by question.

Tenancy kept apart

Each clinic's patients, diary and messages are isolated at the database layer, enforced on every query.

Scope & intended use

The patient app displays what the clinic has released: reports, results, ranges and record entries, exactly as authored. It does not interpret results, classify values, or advise patients. General test descriptions are educational only and every screen points patients back to their clinician.

Questions, answered

The questions clinics ask first.

Will this switch on for our patients automatically?

No. The app is off by default for every clinic. You enable it when you are ready, and you can switch it off again at any time; patient access ends immediately.

Can patients see results before a clinician has reviewed them?

No. The app only ever shows reports and results your clinic has released. Anything pending review is simply not there.

Is it branded to our clinic or to Catenix?

Patients see your clinic: your name, your colours and your contact details, on every screen. Catenix is the platform underneath.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone today, with health-app data sharing where the patient opts in. Android support is planned.
