Accessibility statement.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they rely on. This statement explains where we stand and how to tell us when we fall short.
Our commitment
This statement applies to the website at www.catenix.com, operated by Catenix. We are committed to making it accessible, in line with the spirit of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations and the NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC). Because our users work in clinical and laboratory settings — including public-health services such as the NHS — accessibility matters to us beyond mere compliance.
How accessible this website is
Our conformance target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and we design and build against it. In practice this means:
- you can navigate the whole site by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
- text reflows and remains readable when zoomed up to 200%, and on small screens;
- body and interface text is designed to meet AA colour-contrast ratios against its background;
- images carry text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers;
- headings, landmarks and form labels are marked up so assistive technologies can interpret the page structure;
- content is not conveyed by colour alone, and there are no auto-playing or flashing elements.
We believe the site is largely conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We say "largely" honestly — there are a small number of areas we are still verifying, listed below, and improvement is ongoing rather than finished.
In June 2026 we shipped a dedicated accessibility fix round across the site: "skip to content" links and main landmarks on every page, colour-contrast corrections on tinted sections, fuller support for the operating-system "reduce motion" preference, and a fallback so page content remains readable when JavaScript is unavailable. Work continues, and we re-test as we change the site.
Content that may not be fully accessible
We are aware the following may not yet meet every AA success criterion, and we are working to resolve them:
- Entrance animations. Some elements fade or move in as you scroll. We honour the operating-system "reduce motion" preference where it is set; if you experience movement you find uncomfortable, please let us know.
- Embedded third-party content. The contact form relies on a third-party service (FormSubmit). We have built the form fields and labels to AA, but we do not control every aspect of the third party's behaviour.
- Downloadable documents. Any PDFs or brochures linked from the site may not all be fully tagged for assistive technology yet. If you need an accessible version of a document, ask us and we will provide one.
How we prepared this statement
This statement was prepared on 29 May 2026 and last reviewed in June 2026, following the fix round described above. The site was assessed by the Catenix team using a combination of:
- manual keyboard-only and screen-reader walkthroughs of the main pages and the contact form;
- automated checks for contrast, heading order, landmarks and alternative text;
- responsive and zoom testing across desktop and mobile browsers.
We have not yet commissioned a full independent audit; we plan to do so and will update this statement with the results. We review the statement at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to the site.
Feedback and contact

A note on scope
This statement covers our public website only. The Catenix connectivity platform used by clinics and laboratories has its own accessibility considerations, which we address with each customer as part of onboarding. Speak to us at contact@catenix.com for platform-specific accessibility information.
