Pricing

Pricing sized to the site, not the test count.

One subscription per site, everything essential included, and add-ons at flat monthly prices. No per-test fees, ever. Here's how a quote is actually put together.

Plans

Sized to your service, from a single site to a network.

Every plan includes the whole platform. You scale by sites, not by tests.

Single site

One site, with every analyser you run connected.

  • All core modules included
  • Device drivers for supported analysers
  • Open standards: HL7 v2, POCT1-A2, ASTM, FHIR
  • Quality control, Westgard and audit trail
  • Reporting, billing and patient records
  • Marketplace add-ons available
  • Updates and support included
  • No per-test fees

Predictable pricing

One flat amount per site. A busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

Unlimited device connections

Drivers are part of the platform. Connect another analyser, no new line item.

No hidden fees

No per-test charges, no metering, no percentages. See the full cost before you switch anything on.

See the payback

What manual result entry costs you today.

Typing results off an analyser and into a record is the hidden cost of point-of-care testing. Set the numbers to your service. Connecting the analyser removes the typing, so this is the cost you stop carrying.

An estimate at the inputs you set, over 22 working days a month and a 7.5 hour day. It is the cost of handling results by hand today, not a promise of savings: what you actually recover depends on your workflow. Currency is set from your location and you can change it above. Catenix never charges per test, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

Most connectivity pricing punishes growth: per-test fees, per-interface charges, a new invoice line every time you add a device. Catenix pricing works the other way. You pay for the site, not for what the site does with it.

How pricing works

Catenix is a subscription, charged per site. The subscription includes everything a single site needs to run connected point-of-care testing:

  • All core modules. Patient management, device connectivity, quality, reporting, inventory and billing: the whole platform, not a stripped tier.
  • Device drivers for supported analysers. Drivers are part of the platform. Connecting another supported analyser is configuration, not a purchase.
  • Updates and support. The platform is continuously updated, and support is included, not sold back to you as a maintenance contract.

Optional add-on modules extend the core at a flat monthly price per site. Flat means flat: no usage-based components, no percentages of anything, no metering. You can see the entire cost of an add-on before you switch it on.

And to say it plainly, because procurement always asks: there are no per-test fees. Not per result, not per device message, not per report. A site that runs three hundred tests in a week pays the same as it did in the quiet week before.

Implementation, scoped with the quote

Getting live, installing the edge gateway, connecting your analysers, configuring operators and report templates, is scoped together with your quote, based on your sites, devices and how much rollout support you want. There is no separate services rate card to decode. Most teams are surprised by how little of it they need; see how implementation works for the honest four-step version.

We keep contract terms straightforward, without long lock-ins.

Three inputs

How a quote is shaped.

Every Catenix quote is built from three things you already know about your own service. Bring these to the first call and the quote follows quickly.

Sites & devices

How many sites, and which analysers you run at each one. This sets the subscription and confirms every device on your list is covered by an included driver.

Modules

The core platform is included. If you want optional add-ons on top, each is a flat monthly price, easy to forecast, easy to switch off if it isn't earning its keep.

Rollout support

Some teams self-serve from the first day; others want us alongside for a multi-site rollout. Implementation effort is scoped honestly, with the quote, not invoiced as a surprise.

Questions, answered

The pricing questions we always get.

Are there per-test fees?

No. Catenix never charges per test, per result or per device message. The subscription is a flat amount per site, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

What does the base subscription include?

The modules a site needs to run connected testing end to end, plus device drivers for connectable analysers, platform updates and support. In plain terms:

  • Patient management. The patient record and the visit: registration and demographics, NHS or CHI number, GP details, medical and lifestyle history, check-in with vitals, and the encounter that ties a visit's results together. Returning patients are matched to their existing record rather than duplicated.
  • Connectivity and devices. The analyser link over HL7 v2, POCT1-A2, ASTM and FHIR, the on-site gateway, and device monitoring.
  • Quality and governance. Quality control with Levey-Jennings and Westgard multi-rule, QC lockout, operator competency records, and the audit trail.
  • Reporting. Both kinds. Patient-facing result reports with reference ranges, and internal reporting for the site: turnaround time, workload by device, QC and operator compliance.
  • Billing and payments. Site-side invoicing for the patient or payer, and card payments through Stripe for deposits and self-pay. Catenix takes no percentage of your payments.
  • Inventory, analytics and AI, administration. Consumable and lot tracking, the analytics views, the AI assistant, and user and site administration.

Connecting another supported analyser is configuration, not a new line item.

What is sold as an add-on rather than included?

Specialist modules that only some services need, so nobody pays for them by default. Examples: Quality Management (non-conformances, incidents, CAPA, audits, risk register, management review), the Statistics Workbench, External Quality (EQA), molecular and genetics connectivity, document control and SOPs, precision and method validation, heart-risk scoring, the patient mobile app with booking and messaging, the compliance and audit pack, PKB Connect, Bluetooth and phone-as-gateway connectivity, and API access. Each is a flat monthly price, listed in the marketplace, and available on any plan.

How are add-on modules priced?

Each optional add-on is a flat monthly price per site. There are no usage-based components and no percentages of anything. You can see the full cost before you switch a module on, and switch it off if it isn't earning its keep.

What does implementation cost?

Implementation is scoped with your quote, based on your sites, devices and the rollout support you want. One quote covers it. There is no separate services price list to decode.
