Testing that keeps up with a fast clinic day.

You need testing to fit into a busy clinic day, not slow it down. Catenix connects your bookings, devices, results, reports and billing in one place, so your team runs a smoother service with far less manual admin. Your analysers and systems stay the ones you already use.

How it works on the day

From booking to result, with less re-typing in between.

In

Your devices and analysers

Across rooms and sites, on the connections your instruments already use: HL7, POCT1-A2 or ASTM, serial or network.

Through

Catenix tidies it up

Results land against the right patient automatically, so there is no re-keying between the front desk, the analyser and the report. Analyser flags and status are kept exactly as produced.

Out

Reports and your records

Clean reports for clinicians and patients, ready faster, and delivered into your existing systems for review and billing.

Where the line is

Catenix moves and displays the result your analyser produced. It does not re-calculate values, re-classify results, derive estimated quantities, or auto-flag. Interpretation, validation and authorisation stay with your clinicians, exactly where accreditation expects them.

What it changes for your team

A smoother service, with less manual admin.

Less re-entry, fewer mistakes

Patient details and results flow between the front desk, your analysers and the report on their own, so your team stops re-typing the same information and the transcription errors that come with it.

Faster sample to report

Results land against the right patient the moment a device finishes, so reports are ready sooner and patients are not left waiting. See how device connectivity works.

A cleaner audit trail

Every result keeps a complete, exportable record (operator, device, lot, time, destination), so governance reviews, complaints and inspections are quick to answer.

What you get

One connected workflow, end to end.

Built with hands-on clinical-biochemistry expertise, so quality and QC work the way a real clinic does, not the way a textbook says it should.

  • Results captured automatically: pull readings from many rooms and device types without anyone copying numbers by hand.
  • Feeds your existing systems: results flow into the records and reporting tools your clinic already runs on, over HL7.
  • Analyser flags kept as-is: the status your devices produce is carried through untouched for your clinicians to review.
  • QC alongside results: statistical quality monitoring visible in context, not in a separate spreadsheet.
  • Exportable audit trail: a clean record for governance, complaints handling, accreditation and inspection.
  • Regional data residency & GDPR-aligned: secure, with role-based access and HTTPS throughout.

Questions, answered

What laboratories ask first.

Does Catenix replace our LIS?

No. Catenix consolidates point-of-care results and delivers them to your existing laboratory information system over HL7. It can also act as the working record for sites that have no LIS, but in a laboratory network it is designed to feed the system you already run.

Does Catenix interpret results or flag abnormal values?

No. Catenix carries the status and flags your analysers produce, verbatim. It does not interpret results, re-calculate values or provide clinical decision support. Interpretation, validation and authorisation remain with your laboratory and its clinicians.

How does Catenix handle QC?

Quality-control runs are captured alongside patient results, so statistical data-quality monitoring and QC documentation live in one place, visible across every connected site. Catenix records and displays QC data; acceptance decisions stay with the laboratory.

How is Catenix priced for a laboratory network?

Catenix is a subscription priced per clinic or site, with optional add-on modules at a flat monthly price. There are no per-test fees, device drivers for supported analysers are part of the platform, and implementation is scoped with your quote.
