Patient record
Demographics, history, documents and consent — one place per patient, role-scoped.
Registration & scheduling
Register a patient with configurable intake forms, then book them into the right slot, operator and instrument. Appointments and the day's schedule sit alongside the work, so the front desk and the bench share one view.

The encounter, end to end
The encounter status moves cleanly from registered to released — every step recorded in the audit trail.
What's in the record
Demographics, history, documents and consent — one place per patient, role-scoped.
Browse and search results across patients and encounters, with cumulative trends over time.
Every visit with full status history, the operator who ran it, and the results it produced.
Recalls and outstanding actions tracked to completion, not left to memory.
A patient's results over time, displayed exactly as the analyser produced them.
Who sees what is governed by role, and every view of a record is accountable.
Scope & intended use
Catenix is connectivity, workflow, record-keeping and data display. It does not interpret results, calculate clinical values, classify or flag results clinically, or provide clinical decision support. Any reference range or note shown is clinic-authored content Catenix displays.
Questions, answered
Yes. Catenix can present registration and appointment booking to patients under your clinic's brand, then drop them straight into the same encounter workflow your staff use.
It can run standalone for point-of-care, or sit alongside an existing EHR over HL7 — sending results out and receiving orders in.
Every encounter carries an accession number that ties each sample and result to the right patient and visit. Unmatched inbound results are quarantined for review, never mis-filed.
