Pabau is a practice management platform for private clinics, positioned for UK private healthcare across medical aesthetics, wellness and longevity, private GP, IV therapy, physiotherapy and similar settings. It pairs an electronic medical record, with notes, forms and consents on one client timeline, with booking, payments and marketing, and it lets clinics order tests from partner laboratories and receive results into the record. The analyser in the clinic is the piece that often stays on paper. That is the manual step in between.
Two things push a private clinic to connect its analysers. The first is volume: a wellness or private GP clinic running lipid, HbA1c, CRP or hormone tests in the room produces results faster than a front-of-house team can type them in, and each has to be on the right client's timeline before the consultation ends. The second is the client: private patients and corporate accounts expect a branded report of what was measured, and the clinic's reputation rides on that value being right. Connect the analysers and the result files itself while the report is built from the same record.
Catenix sits between your analysers and Pabau. A small gateway at the clinic, or a staff phone running Pocket Gateway, captures each result electronically the moment it is produced, over HL7, POCT1-A2, ASTM or the device's own format. The result is matched to the right client and operator, kept separate from quality-control runs, and forwarded to Pabau through the API the supplier publishes for reading and writing patient records and clinical forms, or a supported partner interface.
